Governance Mechanisms
Learn how token-weighted voting, quadratic voting, and conviction voting actually work. We analyze real protocols like Compound, MakerDAO, and Polkadot to see where governance succeeds and where it breaks down.
Most blockchain education stops at smart contracts. We go deeper. Our programs explore how decentralized networks make decisions, handle disputes, and evolve over time. If you're curious about the mechanisms behind DAOs, protocol upgrades, and on-chain voting systems, this is where theory meets practice.

Skip the buzzwords. Our courses focus on technical governance patterns that blockchain developers and protocol designers need to understand.

Understand how decentralized systems change over time without central authority. Study fork scenarios, upgrade proposals, and the technical trade-offs between on-chain and off-chain governance.
Build actual governance contracts. Our hands-on modules cover proposal systems, treasury management, and execution layers. You'll write Solidity code that handles multi-signature approvals and time-locked operations.
We dissect governance decisions from major protocols. When Uniswap passed UNI token distribution proposals, when MakerDAO adjusted collateral ratios during market volatility, when Ethereum coordinated the London hard fork—these become case studies.
Students get access to historical voting data, participate in simulated governance scenarios, and analyze voter participation patterns. You'll see why some proposals pass with 80% approval and others barely reach quorum.
Our next cohort starts in September 2025. All programs include access to our research database and governance simulation environment.
I came in thinking governance was just voting mechanisms. The program showed me it's about incentive alignment, security assumptions, and social coordination. We analyzed the Compound governance attack from 2024 and built countermeasures into our final project. That level of practical depth is rare.
